Socrates Salons (www.SocratesWay.com) are part of a burgeoning movement of grass-roots conversation groups which has been featured recently in Time and Reader's Digest.

Come join in a lively conversation! Share your views, be surprised by others', meet new friends, enliven your mind. The goals are to revive the art of joyful conversation, and to foster civic discourse.

Ron and Bea Gross conduct the longest-running such group in the US, and have launched new groups throughout North America. They also conduct the University Seminar on Innovation, at Columbia University in New York City and have published 20 books including Socrates’ Way.

John Cabot University is an American institution of higher education founded in 1972, renowned for its student-centered approach to active learning, and offering the AA and BA degrees, and several joint degrees with the University of Wales.
